Terms and Conditions
Bilutleie i Lofoten AS, Brattbergveien 16, 8372 Gravdal, org nr 933296741 MVA, operates a rental service where companies and consumers can rent equipment for common use by ordering the equipment online and picking it up and delivering it to a convenience store or kiosk or by home delivery. The service also includes membership offers where those who need equipment a little more often receive benefits.
1 General
These terms and conditions apply to the rental and sale of goods and services from www.bilutleieilofoten.no to companies and consumers. The terms and conditions will, together with your order, constitute a comprehensive agreement for the purchase.
2 Definition of parties
The lessor or seller is: Bilutleie i Lofoten AS and is hereinafter referred to as we, us, the lessor or Your Company.

The lessee is: the person stated as the lessee or buyer in the order, and is hereinafter referred to as the lessee, the customer, you, you, yours or yours.

Rental objects include tools, equipment, machines and everything else that is rented out on yourcompany.no

Delivery method/service points means delivery or handing over to a store, kiosk or home delivery
3 Payment, deposit and prices
Payment is made via Visa or Mastercard online via our payment method provider DIBS which meets the strictest security requirements. The renter pays when ordering and then the rental agreement is considered to have been entered into.

Car rental in Lofoten AS follows standard rental practice and also reserves a deposit amount as stated on the order receipt when ordering. Reservation ensures if the customer returns the tool late, damages the tool or does not deliver at all. The size of the deposit varies with the selected equipment that is rented and is stated in your order confirmation. Your Company has the right to use the deposit to cover rent as well as other costs mentioned above and/or any recourse claims, cf. point 5 below.

All prices include VAT. The total cost of the purchase will be stated before ordering and includes all expenses associated with the rental or purchase. If there have been errors with the prices of a significant size from Your Company's side on the website, Your Company may unilaterally change, delete or reject the order even after the customer has received an order confirmation or similar. However, such errors must be corrected and the customer informed within a reasonable time after the error is discovered.
4 Condition of the rental object
Your Company undertakes to deliver rental objects of high quality in a ready-to-use condition. Your Company has its own routines that check and maintain the rental objects before and after rental.

During the rental period, you are responsible for all damage or loss to the equipment. Exemption from liability may occur if the damage or loss is due to technical errors or defects. The renter is therefore obliged to check the rental object before use and contact Your Company if the rental object is not in the expected condition.
5 Damage
All damage, technical errors or accidents that may occur during the rental period must be reported to Your Company immediately. We will then do our best to help the renter. Damage must be reported to support@yourcompany.no immediately. This also applies to theft.

If the damage occurs due to misuse, intent or negligence, Your Company will be able to use the previously reserved deposit and, if necessary, deduct additional outstanding amounts to cover the costs associated with repair, service or replacement of the tool. This also applies if the equipment is returned in poor condition or is delivered dirty beyond normal.

We always strive to provide the best advice and tips for using the rental object, but are not responsible for performance or for direct or indirect damage or loss resulting from the use of the rental object, delays or defects in the rental object.
6 Use of the rental object

Unless otherwise agreed, the rental agreement only applies to driving within Lofoten and the surrounding area.There will be a fee for driving outside.!!!!!!

Use of rental objects is at your own risk. The person using the equipment must be over 18 years of age.

The renter is responsible for using the equipment and accessories in such a way that it is not damaged or unreasonably dirty. The correct and safe use of the equipment is the responsibility of the Renter. The Renter facilitates the correct use of the equipment by making available operating instructions, instructions and safety procedures together with the tool and/or on the Renter's website. It is the customer's responsibility to familiarize themselves with the Renter's use and safety routines before using the equipment.

We recommend the use of protective equipment. You must also follow the equipment's operating instructions and other instructions from Your Company.

7 Accessories
As a general rule, accessories must be purchased or rented separately when ordering the tool and selected according to the task the Renter wants to perform on the website. The website also describes what is included in the delivery of the rental object. In addition, safety equipment is required in a number of situations and is offered on the website. Accessories that are personal (dust masks etc.) or consumables that wear out (saw blades etc.) are not rented out. For accessories that are sold and have not been used, section 12 Right of withdrawal applies.
